A custom made magnetic mounting system was constructed to hang a large hexagonal quilt.

Metal was wrapped in muslin and attached to the back of the exhibit case.

The fully backed quilt was folded carefully for transportation to and from the gallery.

Every magnet had to be carefully applied prior to letting the quilt hang.

The quilt was slowly unrolled to its hanging position.

The magnets were easy to adjust and remove for deinstallation.

This sample book contained fabric swatches that were also contained in the quilt and dress displayed next to it. The book had to be supported with a special mount to be displayed open.
