This exhibition showcased student research of ethnic dress materials contained in the URI's Historic Textiles and Costume Collection.
A wide variety of global dress was displayed, with objects originating from Central and North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
This grouping of Mikkosukee/Seminole textiles show the complex patchwork used in traditional garments.
The shawl contains a modern machine made lace with lamé and rickrack trim.
